In the upcoming 2025 season, Formula 1 is celebrating its 75th anniversary, and one of the highly anticipated races is the Dutch Grand Prix at the historic Circuit Zandvoort.

The circuit, originally designed in 1948, boasts a length of 4.259 meters and a race distance of 306.524 kilometers. The race is scheduled for Sunday, August 31 at 3:00 PM.

Last year, Lando Norris clinched victory at Zandvoort, and this year, British driver Jim Clark holds the record for most wins at the circuit, with four victories. The lap record is currently held by Lewis Hamilton, who set a time of 1:11.097 in 2021.

The Circuit Zandvoort, which first hosted a Formula 1 race in 1952, will once again be part of the 2025 calendar. However, the historic Hockenheimring will not feature in the calendar for 2025.

There are some changes in the regulations for the 2025 season. The bonus point for the fastest lap has been removed, and the minimum weight of the racing vehicle has been increased to 800 kilograms. All teams are now required to give a junior driver the opportunity to participate in free practice.

The 2025 Formula 1 season will consist of a total of 24 races. In addition to Zandvoort, Sky will cover all 24 races, including free practice and qualifying sessions, live. RTL will broadcast seven races, including the Dutch Grand Prix, on TV and live stream.

Audi has announced its entry into Formula 1 from 2026, with plans to fully acquire the Sauber team. The team will operate as Audi's factory team in F1, and it will be interesting to see how they perform in their debut season.

Max Verstappen, the current World Champion, will be looking to defend his title in the 2025 season. One of the German drivers participating in the Zandvoort race is Nico Hülkenberg.

Free Practice sessions are scheduled for Friday, August 29 at 12:30 PM and 4:00 PM, and Saturday, August 30 at 11:30 AM. Qualifying is scheduled for Saturday, August 30 at 3:00 PM.

The Circuit Zandvoort reopened in 2021 after significant renovation and modernization work, and it promises to deliver an exciting and challenging race for the drivers and fans alike. The Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort is scheduled for August 29 to 31, 2025. The basic principles of Formula 1 remain unchanged in the 75th anniversary season, with points awarded to the top finishers and the driver with the most points winning the World Championship.
