The production of the electric pickup truck at Louisville will mark the end of the Escape SUV and its Lincoln Corsair twin. The production line shift at Louisville will pave the way for Ford's cheaper electric pickup truck and a wider family of EVs to follow.

Ford's new modular EV platform can underpin compact vans to three-row SUVs, indicating a broader range of electric vehicles in the pipeline.
