Ford's 2025 Bronco Stroppe Special Edition Honors an Off-Road Racing Legend

Ford will honour off-road racing legend Bill Stroppe with a special-edition Bronco in 2025. The model celebrates his iconic racing trucks, which dominated events like the Baja 1000 in the 1960s and 1970s. Sales of the limited-run Bronco Stroppe Special Edition begin next January. Bill Stroppe became a key figure in Ford's motorsports success from the 1950s to the 1970s. His modified Broncos, known for their red, white, and blue livery with a black hood, earned a fearsome reputation in off-road competitions. Now, Ford is reviving that legacy with a modern tribute.

The 2025 Bronco Stroppe Special Edition features a striking Code Orange paint scheme and squared-off high-clearance fenders. It rides on 35-inch Goodyear Territory RT tyres and comes equipped with Fox internal bypass dampers for rugged performance. Under the bonnet sits a 330-hp twin-turbocharged 2.7-litre V-6 engine.

This special model also includes Baja G.O.A.T mode for extreme off-roading and unique 'Stroppe Special Edition' badges. It will only be offered with the Bronco's two-door body style, staying true to the original racing trucks. Additionally, Ford is introducing a Free Wheeling appearance package for 2025, adding retro styling touches to other Bronco models. The Bronco Stroppe Special Edition arrives in showrooms in January 2025. It combines classic off-road heritage with modern engineering, paying tribute to Stroppe's racing legacy. The model's performance features and distinctive design set it apart from the standard Bronco lineup.
