Football legend Peyton Manning will appear in advertisements for FanDuel's 'Kick of Destiny' campaign
The much-anticipated "Kick of Destiny 3" campaign by FanDuel is set to make a splash during this year's Super Bowl. The campaign, which was announced on January 10, 2025, at 03:23h, features the Mannings - football legends Peyton and Eli - in a thrilling competition.
The Mannings are the latest stars in the "Kick of Destiny" spots, following Rob Gronkowski, Adam Vinatieri, and the late Carl Weathers. In the first ad spot, Eli confesses his long-burning desire to be a kicker, with Peyton joining in on the act.
During the FOX Super Bowl Pregame Show, each Manning will attempt a 25-yard field goal. If no winner is determined after initial kicks, additional attempts will be given to the Mannings. The kicker who kicked closest to the center target in the last round will be declared the winner, in case a tiebreaker is needed after three rounds.
This campaign is a significant step for FanDuel's Financial Gaming Business and Mergers and Acquisitions, allowing their clients to win an equal share of $10 million by selecting the right Manning. FanDuel will again advertise during the Super Bowl, with the Kick of Destiny experience available through two TV spots during the game.
The production company that produced the "Kick of Destiny 3" campaign for FanDuel is Pulse Films. Notably, the Manning family has previously appeared in sportsbook advertisements, with their last appearance being in Caesars Sportsbook advertisements during the 2021 NFL season.
Peyton's Omaha Productions has partnered with FanDuel for this campaign. The Mannings have also done voiceovers for radio spots more recently. The ads will feature recap footage of the Mannings' kicking contest, showcasing whether fans who picked Team Peyton or Team Eli won $10 million in Bonus Bets.
The estimated cost of a 30-second commercial during the Super Bowl this year is $7 million. With the "Kick of Destiny 3" campaign, FanDuel aims to captivate viewers and engage football fans in a unique and exciting way. The campaign's timing couldn't be more perfect, as the Super Bowl promises to be an unforgettable event.
