following weed incident in Las Vegas, Howie Mandel discovered his wife in a pool of blood
Howie Mandel shared a harrowing experience regarding his wife during a recent trip to Las Vegas. During their stay at Fontaineau Las Vegas in February, Terry Mandel, Howie's wife, consumed too many cannabis gummies and in the middle of the night, stumbled and collided with the wall of their hotel room.
In an interview on "Live with Kelly and Mark" on Monday, Howie elaborated on the incident, albeit leaving out the part about the edibles. He described their night as one filled with partying, culminating in Terry's intoxicated state and the subsequent fall.
"She slipped, went down, hit the wainscoting, broke her cheek," Howie recalled.
Upon waking up due to the commotion, Howie, who is known for his struggles with obsessive-compulsive disorder, found a terrifying sight - Terry's skull was visible, and she was bleeding profusely. He showed a gruesome image of Terry's face, displaying lacerations and bruises on her forehead and eye.
Panicking, Howie picked up Terry, placed her on the bed, and attempted to clean up the blood-soaked towels. Terry, in distress, asked for ice, but Howie was unsure where to find it.
Hotel security was called, and they arrived promptly, insisting on coming to the room instead of calling 911 immediately. Eventually, Howie and Terry made their way to the hospital, where Terry complained of limited vision in her left eye.
Fortunately, Terry made a full recovery, as evidenced by Howie's proud assertion that she is now "perfect" with no visible scars. If the incident had resulted in a more serious outcome, Howie might have shared the story on a more somber show.
