The electric vehicle market is abuzz with excitement as Fisker Inc. unveils significant changes to its popular SUV, the Fisker Ocean.
In a recent announcement, the company revealed that it has signed agreements for a total of twelve dealer partner locations and distributorships in the US and territories. Among these new additions are Lumin Fisker in Sacramento, LA Fisker and West Covina Fisker in Los Angeles County, Fisker of Kansas City, Missouri, NEPA Fisker of Forest City, Pennsylvania, and a distributor in Guam. These new dealerships and distributorships will soon be operational and listed on fiskerinc.com.
Fisker Inc. has also lowered the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) on many model year 2023 Fisker Oceans in the US. The 2023 Ultra trim is now priced at $34,999 MSRP, a reduction from the prior $52,999. Similarly, the 2023 Sport is now priced at $24,999 MSRP, down from $38,999. The most notable price reduction, however, is on the Fisker Ocean Extreme, which now has an MSRP of $37,499, a significant decrease from its original $61,499 MSRP.
The Fisker Ocean Extreme boasts an EPA-estimated range of 360 miles, making it the longest range of any new electric SUV in its segment sold in the United States today. In European markets, the WLTP range number for the Fisker Ocean Extreme is 439 miles / 707 km, the longest range of any electric SUV in its segment on the European market today.
It's important to note that the EPA-estimated range for the Fisker Oceans is based on standard 20" wheels, and actual results may vary due to factors such as driving conditions, state of battery charge, and how the vehicle is driven and maintained. Similarly, the WLTP range number for Fisker's European markets is based on standard 20" wheels, and actual range will vary with conditions such as external environment, vehicle configuration, wheel size, and vehicle use.
Pricing for the Fisker Oceans is subject to change and will be based on the final vehicle configuration. Maintenance is not included in the pricing. The offer cannot be combined with any other offers.
The Fisker Ocean is classified as a D-Segment Vehicle, as classified by GlobalData. The company announced a strategic shift to the Dealer Partnership model in January 2024.
The information about the sustainability of the Fisker Ocean is based on the date of its Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) publication and public information available at that time.
The offer is limited to 2023 model year vehicles currently in stock and is available from March 29, 2024 until all 2023 model year inventory is sold. The search results do not provide specific information about the new dealer partners Fisker Inc. has signed in other US states and US territories.
As the electric vehicle market continues to evolve, Fisker Inc. is making strides to make its vehicles more accessible and affordable for consumers. With the new price reductions and expansion of its dealer network, the Fisker Ocean is poised to make a significant impact in the mid-size SUV market.
