First glance at the upcoming Harry Potter TV series unveiled, featuring an intriguing twist on the traditional Gryffindor school uniform.
The magical world of Harry Potter is set to return to our screens with a new TV series, scheduled to debut on HBO and HBO Max in 2027. Production for the highly-anticipated HBO Original series has already begun at Warner Bros. Studios in the UK.
In this new adaptation, the series will span across 10 seasons, and it's been confirmed that it may not follow the exact structure of J.K. Rowling's novels.
A number of exciting cast announcements have been made, with newcomer Dominic McLaughlin stepping into the iconic role of Harry Potter. Joining him will be Arabella Stanton, who will play the main role of Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley.
Other notable cast members include Rory Wilmot as Neville Longbottom, Amos Kitson as Dudley Dursley, Louise Brealey as Madam Rolanda Hooch, and Anton Lesser as Garrick Ollivander.
The Hogwarts uniform in this new series has undergone a slight transformation from the one worn by Daniel Radcliffe in the movies. The tie and jumper designs feature new elements, such as red and yellow piping around the V-neck of the jumper and lines on the tie.
Despite these changes, the series promises to stay true to the beloved Harry Potter universe that fans have grown to love. The series will be available in Germany, Italy, and the UK on HBO and HBO Max.
