Firefighters in Bocholt are expanding operations at their burn workshop - Major blaze-fighting operations underway in the town.
In the early hours of this morning, the Bocholt Fire Department fought a significant fire that broke out in the Bocholt Industrial Park. The blaze was first reported at 03:58, following an automatic alarm from a company's fire alarm system within the park.
Upon arrival, the Bocholt Fire Station complex was engulfed in flames. To combat the fire, the department dispatched 6 fire engines, two turntable ladders, and 50 personnel. Each of the turntable ladders was equipped with a monitor, a B-pipe, and 5 C-pipes, essential tools in firefighting operations.
Through extensive efforts, the fire department managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the adjacent hall section. Water supply was ensured via a nearby fire water well and hydrants.
