In the city of Offenbach, several changes are taking place to optimize public transportation and traffic safety. Here's what you need to know:

Public transportation is affected as bus lines OF-32, OF-97, X19, and X64 will be detoured until Saturday, November 23rd. The "Bahnhof" stop in Jahnstraße will serve as an alternative for the skipped stops "Herrnstraße", "Wiesenbornweg", and "Ostendstraße".

Simultaneous work on the railroad crossing and the fire station roundabout will take place, aiming to avoid an additional closure this year. The reopening of the railroad crossing is scheduled for the evening of November 20th. Alexander Roessler from the department of civil engineering explains that this installation will also avoid another closure of the Frankfurter Straße this year.

The work on the fire station roundabout in Heusenstamm is being carried out by engineer Michael Kraus, with the goal of improving traffic safety at the pedestrian crossing. New lighting masts equipped with lamps have been installed at the roundabout to enhance visibility.

Traffic heading towards the city center will be detoured via the ring road during the work on the fire station roundabout. The lane heading towards the outskirts will remain open during the work. Additional traffic signs will be installed without disrupting traffic.

The city is optimizing signage at the fire station roundabout to meet current standards. Pedestrians can expect some restrictions until the completion of the work.
