Fire Breaks Out in Hannover: Two Incidents Reported on Friday

Two separate fires took place in Hannover, Germany, on Friday evening, causing concern among residents and emergency services.

The first incident occurred at approximately 20:50, when a car was fully ablaze in a parking garage. Nine vehicles were involved in the fire, but fortunately, no one was injured. Swift action by the fire service managed to prevent the car fire from spreading to other vehicles.

Upon arrival at the scene, two teams in breathing apparatus used a hose to bring the blaze under control. A total of approximately 35 firefighters and emergency services personnel were involved in combating the fires in Hannover.

Later on Friday, a fire broke out on the roof of an apartment complex on Canaris Street. Upon arrival, smoke was coming from a parking garage in the same street. The cause of the fire in the apartment complex remains unknown, and the origin of the fire in the parking garage is not specified in the available search results.

The Hannover Fire Department conducted a post-fire inspection following the apartment complex fire, but did not provide information on the cause of the parking garage fire. The fire scene has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
