Barn Fire in Tann: No Casualties, Significant Damage

A field barn in the Lahrbach area of Tann, near Paradieshof, was tragically engulfed in flames on Wednesday, August 27, at approximately 11:30 PM. The East Hesse Police Headquarters confirmed the news, which was also transmitted via news aktuell.

Fortunately, no humans or animals were harmed in the fire. However, the total damage is estimated to be at least 10,000 euros. The barn, measuring 4 x 8 meters, collapsed during the fire and is now unusable.

The barn housed several agricultural machines, which were completely destroyed by the fire. The cause of the fire remains unknown.

A total of 55 personnel from the volunteer fire departments of Lahrbach, Tann, and Hilders responded to the fire.
