Financial success reaches new highs for SIGA during the previous fiscal period, as indicated by recently disclosed reports.

The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) has announced a record net income distribution of $146 million for its 2024-25 fiscal year, alongside $378 million in gross revenue[1]. This significant financial performance reflects SIGA's strong operational success during that period.

The seven casinos operated by SIGA - Dakota Dunes Casino, Bear Claw Casino & Hotel, Painted Hand Casino, Gold Horse Casino, Northern Lights Casino, Living Sky Casino, and Gold Eagle Casino - continue to remain top entertainment destinations in the province. These casinos offer slot machines, live table games, electronic table games, live entertainment, and an array of lounges and restaurants.

SIGA President & CEO Zane Hansen stated that the organization is making investments into its future with the strong growth of its PlayNow.com platform and enhancements to land-based casinos. While specific details about new facilities or projects in 2024-2025 were not explicitly found, SIGA typically emphasizes community integration and sustainability in its development efforts[4].

SIGA has a long-standing commitment to reinvesting gaming revenues into the Indigenous communities it serves, funding health, education, social services, and cultural initiatives. The record income likely supports these community initiatives, consistent with SIGA’s mandate.

Fifty percent of casino net revenue is redistributed to the First Nations Trust, while the remaining twenty-five percent of net revenue goes to the provincial General Revenue Fund. The remaining twenty-five percent is reinvested back into the communities through Community Development Corporations (CDCs), which in turn invest the money back into local community initiatives.

In addition to the seven casinos, SIGA operates the only legally operated online gaming and sports betting site in Saskatchewan, PlayNow.com. Dakota Dunes Casino is undergoing a 12K-square-foot expansion, and Northern Lights Casino is planning a 30K-square-foot expansion.

This is the third consecutive year of record profits for SIGA, with net income in the previous fiscal year being CA$139 million. The annual report for the 2024-2025 fiscal year was issued by SIGA on June 24, 2025. The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) is based in Saskatchewan, Canada.
