Film starring GV Prakash set for new release date, now scheduled to premiere on September 12.

Get ready, movie enthusiasts! The much-anticipated film "Blackmail," starring GV Prakash in a triple role as actor, composer, and producer, is set to hit the screens on September 12.

Initially scheduled for an August 1 release, the film had to be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. But with the new date in sight, excitement is building as "Blackmail" prepares to thrill audiences across the country.

Produced by A Deivakani and presented by Jayakodi Amalraj under the JDS Film Factory banner, "Blackmail" is an intense thriller directed by Mu Maran, who has a critically acclaimed history with thriller films, including "Iravukku Aayiram Kangal."

The film boasts an ensemble cast, including Srikanth, Bindhu Madhavi, Linga, Thilak Ramesh, and Muthukumar, with Teju Ashwini starring in a leading role.

Rajasekhar is choreographing the action sequences, while Sasikumar Paramasivam is responsible for the makeup and Gokul Benoy is handling cinematography. The gripping score is composed by Sam CS, and San Lokesh is responsible for the editing.

The first-look poster for "Blackmail" features GV Prakash beside a motorcycle with a number plate that reads "Money," suggesting emotional intensity. GV Prakash confirmed the new release date on his social media account, X.

Thilakapriya Shanmugham and Vinod Sundar are designing the costumes for the film, promising a visually stunning experience.

With "Blackmail," GV Prakash is also undergoing special underwater training for the film "Kingston." It seems that the actor-turned-producer is leaving no stone unturned to deliver a captivating performance.
