Shocking incident in Bavaria - Fifty-four-year-old woman perishes after colliding her vehicle into a pond.
In the early hours of Thursday morning, a woman's car veered off the road near Tettenweis (Passau district). It plummeted an astonishing ten meters into a field, only to travel another 50 meters before dropping half-way into a pond.
The police are currently probing the tragic events that led to the accident. At the moment, they're unable to pinpoint what led to this harrowing turn of events. The B388 had to be shut down completely as first responders worked at the scene.
