Cuevas del Almanzora is preparing for its annual Fiestas de San Diego, running from November 12 to 16, 2025. The five-day celebration will feature live music, cultural events, and family activities—all free and open to the public. Organisers hope to draw thousands of visitors, giving a welcome lift to local businesses.

The festivities kick off on Wednesday, November 12, with the traditional opening ceremony. A Pregón (opening speech) will follow on Thursday, November 14, at 8pm from the Town Hall balcony. That same evening, Paco Candela takes the stage for a headline concert.

Religious events include a Catholic mass and procession honouring San Diego de Alcalá on Thursday, November 13. Quiet hours for fairground rides are scheduled: Thursday from 6pm to 8pm, and Friday to Sunday from 7pm to 8pm.

Saturday, November 15, brings live performances by Los Porretas and Mezcaleros, capped off with a piromusical fireworks display. The Nave Polivalente and Plaza de la Libertad will host concerts, while the feria del mediodía offers daytime entertainment. The festival closes on Sunday, November 16, with a 4×4 exhibition and a horseback ribbon race.

The Fiestas de San Diego 2025 will run for five days, blending music, tradition, and community events. With free entry and a packed programme, the municipality expects strong attendance, benefiting local traders and hospitality venues.
