Festival's street culture event offers free admission for family's gala at the local Manege

Prepare for an unforgettable afternoon of entertainment as MOKU's Family Gala takes centre stage at the Neumarkt on September 5th, 2025, at 3 pm. This thrilling event is part of the International Street Culture Festival "Nordhorn Gawks + Laughs".

MOKU, a division of the Department for Engagement Promotion & Civic Participation of the Grafschaft Bentheim district, promises a variety performance that will captivate audiences of all ages. The event will feature a stunning array of performances. Mareike Koch will mesmerise the crowd with her trapeze and vertical silk artistry. The duo "manoAmano" from Argentina will present their new show "NOSO3". The Maag, a master of certified Swiss humor, will bring the grand finale with his alpine madness.

In addition, Duo Mio, consisting of Merle Freund and Martin Bogus, will present a unique circus world with juggling, acrobatics, dance, and clowning. Fraser Hooper, an award-winning clown from New Zealand, will perform his show "Funny Business".

Hosting the event will be Jens Ohle, a comedian and artist from Hamburg, who will guide the audience through this circus extravaganza with his wit and charm.

MOKU is proud to be associated with the Japanese project manager and translator Iori Majima, who works for OTOIRO.
