The Altai region has announced the details of an exciting new competition - the first-ever interregional "Best Safety Specialist of Siberia." Governor Victor Tomenko made the announcement on his Telegram channel.

The competition, which will be held in the Altai region, will involve participants from various regions in the Siberian Federal District. A total of 19 representatives from different regions have qualified for the on-site stage of the competition.

The event is an interregional event, attracting safety specialists from both production and non-production sectors. Anastasia Shlyapina, the safety officer of kindergarten No. 93 in Biysk, will represent the non-production sector, while Natalia Milkova, leading engineer of the safety service at the "Barnaul TEC-3" branch of AO "SGK-Altai" in Barnaul, will participate from the production sector.

The competition has received support from the Melnichenko Fund and SGK. In a previous competition, a specialist from Barnaul won a placement in the top three among non-production organizations in Siberia. Maria Vyshnyak, a specialist from the Barnaul Center for Comprehensive Labor Safety, secured third place.

The "Best Safety Specialist of Siberia" competition is not a new concept. It has been held before, with the event in Tomsk being a notable example. The Siberian Association of Occupational Safety and Health organized the competition in Barnaul on September 10, 2021.

Initially, 1200 participants underwent online testing for the competition. After rigorous testing, the top 19 representatives from the Siberian Federal District regions have been selected for the on-site stage.

Biysk made a significant impact in the Ministry of Construction competition, securing a win with support from the Melnichenko Fund and SGK. This victory further underscores the region's commitment to safety and the importance of the upcoming competition.

The "Best Safety Specialist of Siberia" competition promises to be a significant event, showcasing the region's dedication to safety and the outstanding work of its safety specialists. The competition will be held in Barnaul on September 10.
