Federal Law Enforcement Carry Out Arrest Warrant at Dortmund Airport under jurisdiction of North Rhine-Westphalia State Police (BPOL NRW)

A 43-year-old Bulgarian man was arrested by German federal police at Dortmund Airport on September 7 during a passport check. The man, wanted by the Landshut district court and five state prosecutors for fraud, money laundering, theft, and embezzlement, was entering Germany from Sofia, Bulgaria.

Upon his arrival, federal police officers found several wanted notices for the man. After confirming his identity through a fingerprint scan at the police station, they took him into custody. The arrest took place around 12:30 PM.

The federal police prepared reports for the issuing authorities and the man was taken to the federal police station at Dortmund Airport. The reasons for the warrants include fraud, money laundering, theft, and embezzlement.

The man was brought before a competent judge and the federal police officers are cooperating with the relevant authorities to ensure a thorough investigation.
