In two separate incidents at German train stations, the Federal Police have taken action against individuals violating the country's laws.

On August 19, 2025, a 44-year-old German was arrested at the train station in Gronau by the Federal Police for a violation of the Narcotics Act. The man, who had an outstanding sentence of 10 months to serve, was handed over to the prison in Münster to begin his sentence.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday morning, a 36-year-old Uzbek was checked by the Federal Police on the A40 as the driver of a car registered in Paderborn. No further legal actions were taken against the Uzbek at the station, but during a subsequent search of the vehicle, officers found a look-alike weapon (toy pistol) and another completely forged Austrian identity card in the trunk.

The Uzbek, who holds a residence permit from the Foreigners' Office in Paderborn, stated that he had obtained the forged documents in the darknet. He could not give the Federal Police a plausible reason for presenting the forged documents.

In a related development, the Public Prosecutor's Office in Düsseldorf issued a detention order for a 30-year-old Romanian, who entered Germany as a passenger in a car registered in Wesel on August 19, 2025. The man could not present any identification documents to the officers and made false statements about his person.

The Romanian is wanted by Romanian authorities with a European arrest warrant for metal theft. On Wednesday, he will be brought before the judge in charge to open the arrest warrant.

Investigations revealed that the Romanian's personal details were determined by the Federal Police in Kempen using his fingerprints. The man was allowed to continue his journey after the completion of the police measures at the station.

It's important to note that the search results do not contain information about the leader of the Federal Police Directorate Saint Augustin or any specific people associated with the three events mentioned in the article.

These incidents underscore the importance of adhering to the law and the vigilance of the Federal Police in maintaining order and security in Germany.
