Scalable Capital Partners with FC Viktoria Berlin for a Mission-Aligned Sponsorship

In a significant move, Scalable Capital, a leading fintech company, has announced a partnership with FC Viktoria Berlin. This partnership, according to Erik Podzuweit, Co-CEO and founder of Scalable Capital, is "more than just sponsorship."

Scalable Capital views FC Viktoria Berlin as the "perfect partner" for their mission. The football club, with its commitment to social change and sporting ambitions, mirrors Scalable Capital's values. The partnership aims to support women on their way to financial independence, offering logo placements on jerseys, content formats, and educational offerings.

FC Viktoria Berlin, under Scalable Capital's sponsorship, demonstrates how women can shape a market through long-term investments and drive change. The club's women's team, operated by Verena Pausder, chairwoman of the startup association, and her colleagues since mid-2022, is a testament to this commitment.

The original club owns only 1% of the shares, with 75.1% held by the holding company, HELLERSMITH GmbH, and the remaining 23.9% split among several investors, including Carolin Kebekus, Dunja Hayali, and Franziska van Almsick.

The team's debut in the 2. Bundesliga with Scalable Capital advertising on their jerseys will take place on Sunday at 2 PM at the Lichterfelde stadium against SG 99 Andernach.

Previously, Nox Capital was incorrectly stated as the main sponsor of FC Viktoria Berlin. Scalable Capital is replacing Stepstone as the main sponsor of the club.

This partnership is seen as a "statement for equality, progress, and modern brand understanding." Verena Pausder, a strong advocate for change, believes that women in Germany invest significantly less than men, and this needs to change, both in sports and society.

Scalable Capital and FC Viktoria Berlin share a common goal - to empower women and drive change, on and off the football field.
