FC 08 Homburg has secured the services of veteran defender, Nils Röseler.

FC 08 Homburg has bolstered its defense with the addition of Nils Roëseler, a seasoned center-back who brings a wealth of experience from both Germany and the Netherlands.

Roëseler, a native of Lower Saxony, began his football journey at SV Bad Bentheim before joining the youth academy of FC Twente Enschede. He made his Europa League debut for Twente in 2011, marking the start of a promising career.

The transfer of Roëseler to FC 08 Homburg was agreed upon quickly by both parties, and he has been training with the team, impressing the coaching staff with his playing style. Head coach and sporting director Roland Seitz is delighted with the new signing, expressing confidence in Roëseler's ability to strengthen the defense.

Roëseler has played 39 games in the 2. Bundesliga and 66 games in the 3. Liga in his career, as well as around 260 games in the top two Dutch leagues. He has previously played for VVV-Venlo, Chemnitzer FC, SV Sandhausen, and FC Ingolstadt. Most recently, he played 66 times for Roda JC Kerkrade in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie.

Roëseler has penned a deal with FC 08 Homburg until the summer of 2027, and he expresses his excitement for a hopefully successful season with the team. He aims to make an impact with FC 08 Homburg and plans to play attractive football with the team in the Waldstadion.

FC 08 Homburg believes that Roëseler is an experienced center-back who will be beneficial to the team's defense. Roëseler, for his part, is eager to join the team and looks forward to a fruitful partnership. He intends to play with the team and contribute to their success in the coming seasons.
