Fast Food Chain, Raising Cane's, to Launch New Venture in London

Raising Cane's, the popular American chicken finger restaurant chain, has announced its entry into the United Kingdom with plans to open multiple locations across London and the greater London area. This marks the company's first foray into Europe.

Founded by Todd Graves, Raising Cane's has been a successful venture in the United States, ending 2024 with over 900 units. The company's annual sales for the year surpassed $5 billion, and it ranked No. 18 on the Top 500 Restaurant Chain list. In 2024, the average unit volume for Raising Cane's was $6.6 million.

The U.K. expansion will see all units company-owned and operated. Raising Cane's is currently seeking a president for its UK operations, and senior executive-level leaders across various functions and departments are being hired. The company plans to open 100 units this year, with the London flagship located in Picadilly Circus and additional units opening in The Strand, Oxford Circus, Paddington, South Bank, and drive-thru locations across the greater London area.

To support this growth, Raising Cane's is opening a London Support Office and a new Dallas-Area Restaurant Support Office in Plano, Texas. The Dallas office will quadruple the space available, providing the necessary infrastructure to support thousands of crewmembers.

With the London flagship serving as the first of many planned for the United Kingdom, Raising Cane's is aiming to pass the 1,000-unit count and reach 1,600 units by the end of the decade. The company expects to create about 700 jobs within the first year, further bolstering the local economy.

Raising Cane's is known for its unique, family-friendly atmosphere and commitment to quality. The chain specialises in chicken fingers, Texas toast, coleslaw, and its signature secret recipe sauce. With its U.K. expansion, British consumers will soon have the opportunity to experience the Raising Cane's dining experience firsthand.

In conclusion, Raising Cane's is set to make a significant impact in the U.K. market with its ambitious growth plans. The company's entry into Europe represents an exciting development for both Raising Cane's and the British dining scene.
