The defendant, Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht, a well-known figure in German reality television, stood before the judge, facing accusations of not settling a hotel bill totaling nearly 14,000 euros.
The charges were laid out by the hotelier, leading to the involvement of the Innsbruck public prosecutor's office. The bill, accumulated during a stay at a four-star hotel in Kirchberg, near the Bavarian border, in late 2021, had gone unpaid for several years.
Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht, aged 33, neither confirmed nor denied guilt when asked by the judge. However, he did apologize to the head of the affected Tyrolean hotel and to the public in the courtroom.
