Exploring the blend of flora, fauna, and local traditions - Nature & Culture Home Tour taking place in our organization on the 26th of July, 2025
Join us for an exciting day as we embark on the Homecoming Tour 2025 in Fürth, organised by the local Heimkehrerverband. This year's theme is "Nature & Culture", promising a unique exploration of our region's rich heritage and natural beauty.
The tour begins in Zirndorf and takes participants on a journey through the picturesque landscapes of the Hainberg. Here, a 90-minute nature tour awaits, offering a chance to learn about the impressive flora and fauna of the region. Remember to wear sturdy footwear for this adventure!
After the Hainberg, the tour continues to the Ascher Nursery in Oberasbach. Here, guests will learn about the variety of flowers and plants, as well as the role they play in the economy and identity of our homeland. Regional products will also be discussed, providing valuable insights into our cultural roots.
A highlight of the tour is a visit to the traditional inn "Zum Weißen Lamm" in Roßtal, where lunch is served on a pay-as-you-go basis. After refuelling, the tour continues with a guided tour of the St. Laurentius Church with crypt in Roßtal, offering a meaningful insight into the cultural roots of the region.
Registration for the Homecoming Tour is now open and interested parties can register by email, phone, or via a provided link by July 22, 2025. The tour is suitable for those who are good on their feet and promises to be an unforgettable experience for all.
