Volkshochschule Neuwied Announces New Program for Second Semester in 2025

The Volkshochschule Neuwied (VHS) is excited to announce a diverse and engaging program for the second semester of 2025. The new offerings promise to cater to a wide range of interests, from visual arts and literature to creative and crafty design, and more.

At the heart of the VHS's mission, the "Future Skills - Competencies for Tomorrow" remain a crucial focus. Topics such as artificial intelligence, communication skills, resilience, and talent management will continue to be explored. Additionally, courses on burnout prevention, stress management, and resilience development will be available to help individuals navigate the challenges of modern life.

In the realm of visual arts, the program includes basic drawing techniques and portrait drawing with a graphics tablet. For those with a culinary inclination, new courses like an Italian gourmet cooking course, a course on preparing valuable essential oils, and baking courses such as "Festive Baking in Scandinavia" or "Swedish Christmas Baking" are on the menu.

The languages department continues to offer courses in English, French, Italian, Swedish, Greek, Russian, Hungarian, and Japanese. Most language courses are offered as face-to-face events, but online courses are also available for those who prefer a digital learning environment.
