Explore the Residence: Healy 335!
In the vibrant world of Loyola University, Claire Kraemer '26 stands out as a beacon of creativity and warmth. As the Features Editor, she is no stranger to shaping narratives, but her latest project is closer to home.
Claire has transformed her room in Healy 335 into a comfortable haven, a sanctuary where the ambiance is set with LED lights and fairy lights, creating a cosy and inviting atmosphere. The colour scheme for a section of her room is a harmonious blend of different shades of blues, greens, and pinks.
Her room, a testament to her personality, is adorned with tokens from her time as an orientation leader and photographs of family and friends. A light blue comforter on her bed ties the colours together, while a comfy chair in the corner and a converted bed into a couch space for guests further emphasise her hospitality.
Four posters hang on her walls, including one of The Grand Budapest Hotel, adding a touch of whimsy to her space. A sign on her desk proudly proclaims her love for The Beatles, indicating her favourite band. However, her favourite song and movie remain a mystery, leaving us intrigued and eager to learn more.
Claire's roommate at Townhouse 1G, where the downstairs floor serves as a central meeting spot for residents, is not publicly known. The Ireland-themed downstairs, complete with a disco ball hanging from the ceiling, adds to the lively atmosphere of the house.
While the specifics of Claire's major and campus activities remain undisclosed, her dedication to creating a welcoming and unique space speaks volumes about her character. As we continue to peek into the lives of Loyola students, Claire Kraemer '26 stands as a shining example of creativity and warmth.
