Expert Seminar in Rüsselsheim Decodes Early Childhood Struggles

A recent seminar in Rüsselsheim helped professionals understand early childhood challenges. Clinical psychologist Mona Wilke led the session on infant behaviour, covering topics like excessive crying, sleep issues, and feeding difficulties. The event was part of the city’s ongoing training for staff and partners working with young families.

The lecture, titled ‘Fussy Babies, Night Owls, and Picky Eaters—Normal Challenges or Early Regulatory Disorders?’, took place on March 19, 2023. Wilke, who works at the Cologne Infant Clinic, shared insights into recognising and managing common developmental struggles in babies and toddlers.

The seminar highlighted the need for early intervention in childhood behavioural issues. Families in Rüsselsheim can access free support through the Early Support Network, while professionals receive regular training. The city continues to expand its services to assist parents and young children effectively.
