Expansion of Desigual in Spain proceeds, with a prominent store situated in Seville now underway.
Desigual, the Catalan fashion brand, has been making waves this year, expanding its global presence with the opening of new stores in Seville and Madrid.
The company, led by Manel Adell, has achieved its goal of opening 100 new stores in 2011, with the new store in Seville marking the only addition this year. The store, located in the heart of the city, offers the fall-winter 2011 collections for women, men, and children.
In a new development, Desigual has also opened an accessories store in Madrid. The store, located at number 81 on Sierpes street, spans over a commercial area of 650 square meters and is dedicated solely to the sale of accessories and complements.
The architect behind the new Desigual store building in Barcelona, constructed this year using new technical construction methods, is Francesc RifΓ©. The brand has more than 200 own stores worldwide, and the new stores in Spain are an addition to its existing global network.
Desigual recorded a turnover of 440 million euros last year, a testament to its growing popularity. The brand's commitment to accessories is reaffirmed in the current year, with the opening of the accessories store in Madrid.
During the second half of 2012, Desigual will start operating from its new headquarters in Barcelona, which is currently under construction. The brand continues to grow and expand, promising an exciting future for fashion enthusiasts around the world.
