Expanding ESG Investment Team: Neuberger Berman Makes Strategic Move
Sarah Peasey has joined Neuberger Berman, a leading global investment manager, in a newly created role as the Global Head of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Investment Strategy.
Peasey, who hails from the University of East Anglia with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, brings a wealth of experience to her new position. Most recently, she was with Legal and General Investment Management (LGIM), where she developed investment strategies with a focus on research and portfolio management.
In her new role at Neuberger Berman, Peasey will report directly to Jonathan Bailey, the Head of ESG Investments. Bailey, who is also the Global Head of ESG Investing at Neuberger Berman, leads the firm's ESG investment efforts and stewardship, working alongside colleagues including Peasey.
Peasey's role at Neuberger Berman will see her work closely with investment teams across the region to develop ESG investments. Her primary focus will be on further developing Neuberger Berman's ESG investments, ensuring that the firm's investment strategies align with sustainability and ethical considerations.
Peasey's base of operations will be the London office at Neuberger Berman, where she will collaborate with her colleagues to drive the firm's ESG investment agenda forward.
"We are thrilled to have Sarah join our team," said Bailey. "Her extensive experience in ESG investing and her deep understanding of the industry will be invaluable as we continue to expand our ESG offerings and deepen our commitment to responsible investing."
Peasey's appointment comes at a time when ESG investing is gaining traction among investors, with many seeking to align their investments with their values and contribute to a more sustainable future. With Peasey's expertise and leadership, Neuberger Berman is well-positioned to meet this growing demand and provide its clients with innovative ESG investment solutions.
