Expanding Digitally: Cheche Maps Outreach On Three Different Globe Regions

Cheche Group Inc., a leading digital backbone connecting autonomous vehicle platforms, insurance companies, and vehicle owners, has announced a series of strategic initiatives aimed at integrating China's strengths in smart, connected new energy vehicles (NEVs) and collaborating with partners for global data-driven automotive innovation.

The company's forward-looking statements include projections of revenue and other financial and performance metrics, market opportunity expectations, and the company's ability to scale and grow its business. These statements are based on various assumptions and current expectations of the company's management and involve risks, uncertainties, and other factors that may cause the company's actual results to materially differ from those expressed or implied by these statements.

In the first half of 2025, Cheche's NEV insurance policies exceeded 810,000, with a year-over-year increase of 135.5%. Total written premiums for Cheche's NEV insurance reached RMB 2.6 billion, up 150.6% from the prior-year period. The company's claims services are expected to cover approximately 30 million NEVs based on an industry-average estimated claim rate of 30%.

Lei Zhang, Founder, CEO, and Chairman of Cheche Group, stated that these initiatives mark a pivotal moment for the company and China's automotive industry. Cheche aims to serve approximately 30%-40% of China's NEV market over the next three to five years.

As part of its global expansion, Cheche has collaborated with leading insurance companies Allianz and AXA, as well as automotive manufacturers Toyota and Volkswagen, to expand their international presence in Q4 2025 and develop a detailed plan for the Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Latin America regions.

One of the key initiatives is the development of an anti-fraud claims system for intelligent driving scenarios. This system analyzes vehicle driving data to enhance the accuracy of determining liability and supports insurers with intelligent claims processing. Cheche also aims to validate and refine China's mature NEV digital pricing models in global markets and promote alignment in international insurance standards.

Cheche positions itself as a key growth engine starting from 2026, with its overseas business expected to significantly improve the company's financial and operational structure. The vast market opportunity for AI-driven solutions and services is projected to contribute 300-500 million RMB to the company.

The strategic expansion roadmap covers the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, and Latin America. Cheche's initiatives also aim to help boost the sales volume of Chinese automakers in overseas markets. The company has formed partnerships with several automotive brands for its global expansion.

These developments are expected to position Cheche as a leader in intelligent insurance and fintech, redefining how insurance integrates with next-generation mobility. Lei Zhang's statement underscores the importance of these initiatives, marking a significant step forward for Cheche Group Inc. and the global automotive industry.
