In an unexpected turn of events, a former Green Bay Packers quarterback, Donald Majkowski, found himself in hot water following an altercation at Brother's Bar on Water Street.

The incident, which took place on August 29, led to a citation for disorderly conduct against Majkowski, who is now 61 years old. According to the Eau Claire police report, Majkowski was "extremely intoxicated" at the time of the incident.

The altercation reportedly involved Majkowski and another man. During the incident, Majkowski is alleged to have grabbed the throat of two bartenders as they attempted to separate the two men. Despite these allegations, no further details about the incident or any potential charges beyond the disorderly conduct citation were provided in the report.

Upon the police's arrival just after 11 p.m., they met with Majkowski outside the bar. After the alleged incident, bar staff escorted Majkowski outside.

Majkowski, who played quarterback for the Green Bay Packers from 1987 to 1992, has since claimed that he was attacked because "boyfriends of the girls at the bar were jealous of him because he was a prior NFL player."

The case involving Majkowski is being heard in the Brown County Circuit Court, with the trial date set for October 20, 2025. As the court proceedings unfold, more details about the incident may come to light.

For now, this incident serves as a reminder that even former NFL stars are not immune to the consequences of their actions in public places.
