In the heart of Germany, the Rhein-Kreis Neuss continues to navigate the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The region has seen a decrease in new cases and positive test results, offering a glimmer of hope for a return to normalcy in the economy and society.

Since the end of January, the Labor Dr. Wisplinghoff has been responsible for sequencing all positive Corona tests in the test centers Neuss and Grevenbroich, as well as through mobile testing units in the Rhein-Kreis Neuss. This dedicated organisation has played a crucial role in the region's response to the virus.

As of June 21, 2021, there were 217 new cases of Coronavirus in the Rhein-Kreis Neuss, a decrease from the previous day's 230. The 7-day incidence value, as reported by the Robert Koch Institute, stands at 9.5, down from 10.6 the previous day. These figures reflect a positive trend, mirroring the national trend. Nationwide, there were only 562 new infections registered on June 20, 2021, a 48% decrease compared to June 13, 2021.
