In the heart of Wiesbaden, Germany, the Press Office of the State Capital has announced an exciting event taking place tonight. The Press Office, located at Schlossplatz 6, 65183 Wiesbaden, is responsible for disseminating this information and can be contacted for any queries by citizens.

Tonight, students and pupils will present the piano pieces they have learned from the Impressionist and Romantic periods. The evening's centerpiece is Maurice Ravel's "Miroirs", a major work of French Impressionism, presented as a birthday tribute to Maurice Ravel, whose 150th birthday is being celebrated this year.

The program also includes Preludes by Claude Debussy, piano works by Frédéric Chopin, and selections from Robert Schumann's oeuvre. "Kinderszenen op. 15" and the Abegg Variations op. 1 are among the pieces to be performed. These Schumann works serve as a bridge to German Romanticism in the program.

Prof. Meining, an instructor guiding students and pupils in performing these pieces, was found in the search results but no further detailed public information about him was available.

Citizens can visit the Press Office's website at www.wiesbaden.de for more information about this event and other happenings in the State Capital Wiesbaden. This press release has been issued by the Press Office of the State Capital Wiesbaden.

Join us tonight in Wiesbaden as we celebrate the beauty of piano music from the Impressionist and Romantic periods.
