European Union's Legislative Bodies Implement Decision
The European Library is set to host two captivating events for young readers in February 2025. These events, designed for children aged 1 to 3 and 4 to 6 years, are free for all and do not require registration unless you're part of a registered group.
On February 5th and 19th, at 10:15 AM and 3:00 PM, literary toddler groups will take place. During these sessions, an age-appropriate picture book will be read aloud, and the story "Elmar" by David McKee will be the focus. "Elmar" is a heartwarming tale about an elephant named Elmar who learns to accept himself after wishing to blend in.
Siblings are more than welcome to attend these sessions, and each event will be followed by a craft activity to engage and inspire the children further. Parental supervision is required for both events.
Changing facilities are available at the European Library for your convenience.
On a separate note, on February 12th, at 3:00 PM, the Kamishibai - Picture Book Theater "Elmar" will be performed for children aged 4 to 6 years. This event will also take place at the European Library.
Fast forward to February 26th, at 3:00 PM, and you'll find another engaging performance: the Picture Book Theater "The Forest Book Club" by Annie Silvestro and Tatjana Mai-Wyss. This story follows a character named Hoppel, who loves books and embarks on an adventure to ensure his forest friends never go without books.
Both events are free, and the European Library looks forward to welcoming you and your little ones for these enchanting literary experiences.
