In the upcoming 2025 local election in Aasee, two candidates have stepped forward to represent the community. Dr. Georg Lunemann, a native of a farm and a seasoned military officer, and Roland Scholle from Die Partei, are vying for positions of leadership.

Dr. Lunemann, who has spent the last 10 years working for the Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe, has led the organisation for the past three years. Prior to this, he served in the military and studied there, gaining valuable administrative experience as the city treasurer in Gelsenkirchen.

On the other hand, Roland Scholle's political affiliations lie with Die Partei. The details of his professional background are not fully disclosed, but he has been interviewed for the election alongside Dr. Lunemann.

Meanwhile, Michael Buhrke, a geographer and corporate communications specialist, has been making waves in Muenster's local news scene. Born in Celle, Lower Saxony, Buhrke moved to Muenster in 1990. His work at ALLES MUENSTER primarily involves reporting on local news and conducting interviews with election candidates.

Buhrke's areas of focus include environment, health, social issues, natural sciences, and cycling. However, his stance on important issues such as affordable housing, digitalization, a family-friendly environment, and security, remains unclear.

Interestingly, Buhrke has written articles for ALLES MUENSTER about local election candidates Roland Scholle, Franz Pohlmann, and Dr. Katja Martinewski. Yet, he has not been mentioned as a candidate in the Muenster 2025 local election.

Buhrke is also an avid hiker and amateur photographer, passions that might not directly translate into politics but certainly add to his unique perspective. His professional background does not seem to indicate any administrative or political experience, setting him apart from the two candidates in the Aasee election.

As the election draws near, the spotlight will undoubtedly shine brighter on Dr. Lunemann and Roland Scholle, shedding light on their policies and plans for Aasee's future. The community eagerly awaits the election day to make their voices heard.
