European authorities begin a fresh campaign to limit the application of chemical pesticides in food production.

Temu, an online marketplace, has initiated a recall for the cosmetic product "Scarlet Red LED/Nail Gel" due to bacterial contamination in cleaning wipes. The affected product, identified by the identification number 9722549915 and product ID 601099795226601, is also being recalled by Rossmann.

The seller of the recalled product is Mobray Nail, and the product in question is an alcohol-free nail gel offering a long-lasting shine, professional manicure and pedicure, high-gloss nails, and a fashionable look, suitable for trend-conscious users.

The recall is due to the presence of bacteria and the ingredient Hydroquinone Methyl Ether, which is suspected of being carcinogenic in humans. Contact with these substances can cause allergic skin reactions.

Temu is offering a full refund to the original payment method on behalf of the seller for affected customers with their contact details. If customers have not received an email about the refund, they can apply for it via the support center.

It is important to note that the product "Scarlet Red Nail Gel" with color number #007, sold on Temu, is also being recalled. The product is not clearly attributed to a specific manufacturer in the available search results, and there is no information indicating it was made available before August 24, 2025.

Both Hydroquinone and Hydroquinone Methyl Ether are classified as probably fertility-threatening and harmful to the fetus. Customers are advised to avoid using the recalled products and to follow the instructions provided by Temu and Rossmann regarding the refund process.
