Estepona vendor sells €240,000 winning lottery ticket in ONCE draw

A lucky ticket holder in Estepona has scooped a life-changing prize in Spain’s ONCE Weekend Sueldazo draw. The winner secured €2,000 every month for the next decade, totalling €240,000. The draw, held on 22 November, also featured a top prize of €300,000 plus €5,000 monthly for 20 years.

The winning ticket was sold by Francisco Jiménez, a local ONCE street vendor since 2000. Originally from Cáceres, he has lived in Estepona for the past two years. Jiménez discovered the news on his day off and was overwhelmed with joy.

The Estepona winner will now receive €240,000 over the next decade. The prize comes from a draw that also awards a €300,000 lump sum plus €5,000 monthly for 20 years to another lucky ticket holder. ONCE continues to fund social programmes through its lottery sales.
