Escalating Bitcoin Crisis? Analyst Sounds Alarm as Whales Exodus Occurs
In a bold prediction, cryptocurrency analyst Klarck has claimed that institutional players, such as BlackRock, are leading the charge to exit the market, leaving retail investors as "exit liquidity."
Klarck's thesis is based on what he calls a "textbook cycle top scenario." He attributes the potential Bitcoin drop to a massive $2.7 billion whale sell-off that triggered a cascading liquidation bloodbath exceeding $900 million. The liquidation bloodbath was primarily from leveraged positions.
According to Klarck, Bitcoin's price may plummet to a deep low of $90,000 within the next 30 days, a timeline he outlines as approximately 30 days from the current state. This development, he suggests, will likely affect most altcoins, potentially causing them to lose up to 90% of their value.
Contrasting views have emerged from other analysts. Kyle Chassé is hyping up research suggesting BTC could skyrocket to $190,000 by Q3, while Mr. Wall Street argues that bulls are still in control and projects BTC to run toward $145,000 before any real bloodbath.
Fellow analyst Doctor Profit has highlighted bearish divergences on the weekly chart, adding weight to Klarck's prediction. However, funding rates remain excessively high in the market, indicating ongoing speculation and bets on both bullish and bearish outcomes.
Trading volume is drying up in the market, suggesting a lack of confidence among investors. This is further reflected in the suggested ETF demand and institutional inflows being cited as reasons for the potential BTC price increase, which has dropped over 6% this week, hovering near $108,500.
As the cryptocurrency market braces for potential turbulence, investors are advised to closely monitor market trends and make informed decisions based on credible analysis.
