Entrepreneurs in the IT sector to celebrate their day on the 13th and 14th of October, 2025, in Frankfurt
The 21st IT Entrepreneur Day is set to take place on October 13 and 14, 2025, at the Meliá Hotel Frankfurt City. This two-day conference aims to connect leading CEOs and owners of German software and IT SMEs, with an expected attendance of 300 CEOs of software and system houses.
The event will be moderated by consultant and mentor Silke Kanes, and will kick off on Monday, October 13 at 16:00, with the opening address by the founders of the IT Entrepreneur Day, Max Pöhnl and Andreas Barthel.
The first day will feature a keynote speech by former football world champion and ex-coach Steffi Jones, and a panel discussion on employee participation in IT companies. The highlight of the first day will be the awarding of the "ERP System of the Year 2025", aimed at strengthening awareness of the strength of the German software industry.
On the second day, Zoë Andreae, the new CEO of the software house Lecare, will open the proceedings at 3:30 p.m. She will share her experiences and the challenges she faced in her role. The Federal Association of IT SMEs will also award the best "Software Made in Germany" on the second day.
Throughout the conference, keynote speeches will be delivered by representatives from German cloud providers Ionos and Mitteldeutsche IT, managed service provider Mosaic IT, system house cooperation Kiwiko, and economist and digitization expert Prof. Dr. Christian Stummeyer.
The topic of "Digital Sovereignty" is prominently on the agenda of the 21st IT Entrepreneur Day, reflecting the importance of self-reliance in the digital age.
