Entire neighborhood in Omsk faces water scarcity

Residents of several streets in Omsk are advised to prepare for a temporary disruption in their water supply as scheduled maintenance work is set to take place on September 4, 2023.

The maintenance work, which will affect water supply in Mayakovsky Street, houses No. 83, 86, 87a; Sergey Lazarev Street, houses No. 2, 18, 21; 5th Line Street, houses No. 155, 153; 6th Line Street, house No. 96; Maslennikov Street, houses No. 66, 68, 70, 72; and Kuybyshev Street, houses No. 134/1, 111, 113, 113a, 113/1, is being carried out by Omsk Water Utilities in collaboration with the city's public works department.

The exact nature of the maintenance work is not specified, but it involves replacing shutoff valves in the water supply pipeline. The work will take place from 10 AM to 11 PM on the specified date.

To ensure residents have access to clean drinking water during this period, a water dispenser will be available at Maslennikov Street, 68, from 10 AM. Residents are encouraged to stock up on necessary water supplies in advance.

The social facility located on Sergey Lazarev Street will temporarily be without water supply due to the maintenance work. A water dispenser will remain at the location until the maintenance work is completed.

Omsk Water Utilities has announced the planned maintenance work, urging residents to plan accordingly and to check their specific addresses for any updates or changes. The maintenance work is a necessary step to ensure the continued reliability and efficiency of the city's water supply system.
