Enhancements unveiled by Onapsis for bolstering the cybersecurity of Enterprise Resource Planning systems
Onapsis, the market leader in business application cybersecurity and compliance, has announced updates to its award-winning Onapsis Platform at the RSA Conference 2023 in San Francisco Moscone Center.
The updates include a new Security Advisor, enhancements to streamline code security, and updates to the Comply product line. Visitors are invited to stop by Onapsis's booth (N-5434) to learn more about these latest product updates and to witness demonstrations.
Onapsis Control for Code 5.4, a key component of the platform, adds new and updated test cases, enhanced support capabilities, and a new One-Click Fix to autofix common code errors in development. This update is designed to save time and resources for development and QA teams.
Onapsis has also launched two new versions of Control, which are aimed at protecting business-critical applications and preventing disruption, especially before migrating to the SAP S/4HANA cloud.
Control Central 2.0, featuring a zero-footprint architecture, is now generally available for centralized policy management and reduced deployment time and maintenance, making it ideal for ABAP development teams working out of ABAP Workbench.
Onapsis Comply, another product in the platform, integrates with SAP Process Control, streamlining GRC efforts by preloading compliance policies into the SAP GRC tool. The latest version of Comply offers new and updated content and "a la carte" right-sized packaging to simplify compliance efforts.
The Security Advisor, a new addition to the platform, uses data and advanced machine learning to transform security decision-making on the Onapsis Platform. It identifies gaps in visibility, highlights unaddressed risk areas, tracks response effectiveness, benchmarks organizations, provides personalized guidance, and facilitates communication of security progress.
Onapsis has found that the average company has two million lines of custom code within their SAP system, with a potential issue present every thousand lines. To address this, Onapsis is launching Assess for Code, a premium add-on license, to provide insight into vulnerabilities, mis-authorizations, and other security issues in custom code and applications for InfoSec teams.
In addition to these updates, Onapsis Research Labs has also made improvements, including support for the recent P4CHAINS family of vulnerabilities, new and enhanced machine learning models powering anomaly scoring and Security Advisor capabilities, and a vendor-agnostic Onapsis Network Detection Rule Pack.
Onapsis is also partnering with NextGen Cyber Talent at RSA Conference 2023 to educate underprivileged and underserved individuals in cybersecurity. They will be accepting donations at their booth to support this initiative.
