Engaging Conversations on Foot for Women: Women's Walk & Talk Events

The city of Lünen, in partnership with the Volkshochschule, is excited to announce a new monthly event called "Walk & Talk" for women and girls. This leisurely walk, aimed at fostering encounters and strengthening community, will begin on September 14, 2025, at 3 pm on the market square in front of the town hall in Lünen.

The "Walk & Talk" events will be free and open to the public, with no registration required. Each event is expected to last approximately an hour, and will take place at a pace that allows all participants to keep up.

On August 25, 2025, the City of Lünen officially announced the launch of these monthly meetings, which provide an opportunity for conversation, making new connections, and spending time outdoors in a relaxed atmosphere. The locations for the events in October, November, and December have been specified.

The "Walk & Talk" event on November 9, 2025, will begin at the car park of the REWE market in Horstmar (Baukelweg). The following month, on October 12, 2025, the meeting will start from the car park at Cappenberger See (Wehrenboldstraße). The final event of the year, on December 14, 2025, will be at the car park at the LünTec building (Am Brambusch).

The aim of these events is to encourage interaction and community building among women and girls in Lünen.
