Get ready for an exciting day out in nature as the Treff Natur Festival returns to Erftpark on Sunday, August 31, 2025. This year's event promises a host of activities, entertainment, and experiences for all ages.

The day kicks off with the "Max Buddels Fun-Lauf", a nature obstacle run starting at 10:00. Participants can choose between 4.5 km or 9 km runs, and spectators are encouraged to provide motivation along the route. Registration for the Fun-Lauf can be done at www.maxbuddels-funlauf.de.

At 11:00, the main part of the festival commences. The festival's motto, "Move in nature", is reflected in the diverse range of activities on offer. A garden of sounds, face painting with nature motifs, and a diverse culinary offer are just a few of the delights that await visitors.

For children, the "Max Buddels Junior Cup" in collaboration with the swimming school "Die Wellenbrecher" is not to be missed. Children in different age groups can participate and receive a medal as a reward. Registration information can be found at mail(at)schwimmschule-wellenbrecher.de.

The children's theater "Adventures with Captain Karl" is a highlight, featuring artistry, ventriloquism, and pirate stories. Uwe Reetz, a popular children's singer-songwriter, will also perform at the festival with his program "Uwe and Children". Uwe has been a regular performer at the Treff Natur Festival since its inception.

Participating organizations include the Youth Environmental Mobile, the Biological Station Euskirchen, the State Forestry and Timber Authority, the rolling forest school, a mobile climbing garden, and more. The festival offers a variety of interactive activities around the theme of nature, such as willow weaving, archery, balancing, crafting, and climbing.

The culinary offer includes options like pizza, fries, vegan snacks, and apple pancakes. But the highlight of the day might just be the amazing display of birds of prey at the festival.
