"Energy-boosting workout with blue light in Bamberg-East"
On a notable date in the future, September 13, 2025, Bamberg will witness a significant event. A large-scale emergency measures exercise is scheduled to take place in the eastern part of the city, specifically at the Fuchs-Park-Stadion.
To ensure public safety, several emergency services will be deployed in large numbers. Residents and visitors are advised to avoid the area around the Fuchs-Park-Stadion on Saturday morning, between 9 am and approximately 1 pm.
The exercise may cause traffic disruptions, particularly on Pödeldorfer Straße in the vicinity of the Fuchs-Park-Stadion. Pedestrians are also asked not to approach the exercise area closely.
For the safety of the public and participants, the car park at the Volkspark will be closed on that day. Numerous emergency vehicles, equipped with flashing lights and sirens, will be travelling towards the Fuchs-Park-Stadion from Bamberg-Ost.
It is important to note that the large-scale exercise will take place inside the Fuchs-Park-Stadion and will not be visible from the outside. At this time, the identity of the organisation leading the exercise remains undisclosed.
