End of the week will witness Minneapolis-St. Paul area reaching 80 degrees Fahrenheit again
Minnesota residents can look forward to a warmer week, with temperatures climbing into the upper 70s and even the 80s, according to the latest forecasts from WCCO. The meteorologist leading the morning forecasts is K.C. McKenna.
The weather changes are set to begin midweek, with Wednesday being a particularly warm day. However, the start of the day will be foggy in Minnesota. Western Minnesota is expected to be a few degrees warmer than the Twin Cities, with temperatures reaching the lower 70s.
On Tuesday, isolated showers will move east across Minnesota in the morning. The showers may build into something more substantial in Wisconsin later in the day. By Wednesday, the skies will clear, with sunshine and haze aloft.
It's important to note that while the forecast predicts warmer temperatures, there is still a chance of showers. Residents are advised to stay tuned for updates and to dress accordingly.
As always, K.C. McKenna and the WCCO weather team will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as needed. Stay warm and dry, Minnesota!
