Emmendingen’s Handcrafted Advent Calendar Returns with Student Art and Daily Magic
Emmendingen’s beloved Advent calendar at the Schlosserhaus will return on December 1. This year’s event again features creative window displays designed by local students, along with daily performances for families and children.
Every year, pupils from Esther-Weber-Schule and Fritz-Boehle Werkrealschule team up to craft the calendar’s window decorations. Their designs will be unveiled at the City Library in the Landvogtei, where a new window opens each day at 5 p.m.
The Advent calendar runs from December 1 to 24, with daily window openings at the Schlosserhaus. Families can look forward to storytelling, music, and seasonal treats while admiring the students’ handcrafted displays. The event remains a highlight of Emmendingen’s festive calendar.
