In a recent development, Priscilla Presley, the former wife of the legendary Elvis Presley, is facing new allegations from her former business partners, Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko. The duo has filed a civil lawsuit against Priscilla, accusing her of causing the death of her ex-husband Elvis by exerting undue pressure on him.

The lawsuit, which is the latest development in an ongoing legal dispute, alleges that Priscilla placed a lien worth around $500,000 on Graceland, Elvis's iconic home, less than four months before his death in August 1977. This claim, according to the filing, added stress to Elvis in the months leading up to his tragic demise.

The former partners allege they stepped in to protect Priscilla from financial ruin and public embarrassment. However, they accuse Priscilla of "exerting undue pressure" on Elvis and demanding more than $13 million in 2005, as per the allegations.

Priscilla and Elvis shared a daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, who passed away in January 2023 at the age of 54. Priscilla and Elvis married in 1967, after she moved to the United States in 1963. Their marriage ended in 1973, but Priscilla never remarried.

Priscilla met Elvis in 1959 while he was stationed in Germany with the U.S. Army. After their divorce, Priscilla continued to profit from Elvis's name, despite knowing she was entitled to inherit nothing from him after their split.

In a twist of events, Kruse's team later described Priscilla's suit as "retaliatory" after a separate breach of contract case was filed in 2023. Kruse and Fialko first sued Priscilla in August, accusing her of scheming to defraud them.

Priscilla's lawsuit against Kruse from last year accused Kruse of elder abuse and claimed she stole $1 million from her. Priscilla has strongly denied the accusations.

A judge has not yet ruled on the latest claims in the ongoing legal dispute. This news serves as a reminder of the complexities that can surround the lives of even the most iconic figures, long after they have left the stage.
