Eleven individuals succumbed to complications caused by coronavirus and pneumonia
In the latest update from the Ministry of Health, Kazakhstan is currently managing 6,827 hospitalized patients due to coronavirus. Over the past 24 hours, 1,480 new cases of infection have been detected, resulting in a total of 48,917 registered cases since August 1.
Sadly, among the new cases, 8 deaths have occurred among Kazakhs. The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Kazakhstan now stands at 563. However, there is some positive news as 34 patients have recovered, bringing the total number of recovered patients in Kazakhstan to 35,266 (previously 35,183).
Currently, 27,360 people are undergoing treatment for coronavirus in Kazakhstan. Among them, 42 patients are on ventilators, and 311 are in critical condition. Additionally, 43 patients are in severe condition due to the virus.
Outpatient care is being provided for 20,533 patients in Kazakhstan. The reporting is from Almaty.tv. It is worth noting that as of January 23, 16 new cases of pneumonia with COVID-19 symptoms have been reported in Kazakhstan.
