Electronic Reading Devices, including Pocketbook E-Readers, and a Tablet will be Featured at IFA Event
New PocketBook IQ Tablet PC and Four New E-Readers Unveiled by Foxconn Technology
At the IFA exhibition in Germany, Foxconn Technology, a renowned manufacturer, has showcased a new Tablet PC, the PocketBook IQ, along with four new e-readers. The event was attended by Li Wei, the product manager from Taiwan.
The PocketBook IQ, an international tablet, boasts a 7-inch TFT Color Touch screen and a range of features designed to enhance the user experience. It supports reading various formats, including PDF and ePub, and allows listening to audio books. The tablet also has a note-taking feature, WI-FI and Bluetooth connectivity, and a built-in G sensor for seamless switching between horizontal and landscape modes.
However, specific details about the PocketBook IQ's battery life, internal memory, and operating system were not disclosed during the presentation.
Joining the PocketBook IQ is a lineup of new e-readers. The PocketBook Pro 602 and Pro 902 come with six-inch and 10-inch e-ink screens, respectively. All these new e-readers run on a Linux-based operating system and possess Bluetooth and WI-FI connectivity. The Pro 603 and Pro 903 models feature multi-touch screens and 3G for internet connectivity.
Each model of the new e-readers promises a battery life of around 12,000 page turns. The internal memory of all these devices is approximately 2 GB. Interestingly, the internal dictionary of the PocketBook IQ supports around 17 different languages.
With these new releases, Foxconn Technology continues to innovate and expand its portfolio of electronic devices, offering consumers more choices for their reading and note-taking needs. The PocketBook IQ and the new e-readers are expected to hit the market soon. Stay tuned for more updates!
