Electric vehicle manufacture, Chinese company Voyah, introduces the Dream model boasting a remarkable 950-mile driving range. The dream also offers rapid charging, capable of reaching 20%-80% battery capacity in merely 12 minutes.
The automotive world is abuzz with excitement as the Chinese brand Voyah prepares to launch its latest offering – the 2026 Voyah Dream. This plug-in hybrid MPV promises to redefine urban mobility with its advanced driver-assistance systems (ADS) and impressive performance.
At its heart lies Huawei's Qiankun ADS 4.0 system, a network of 27 sensors. These include a high-resolution 192-line lidar and a 4D millimeter-wave radar, ensuring the Dream offers urban navigation on autopilot, highway autopilot, and fully automated parking assistance. The new system improves smoothness and safety, with official figures showing a 30 percent reduction in instances of heavy braking compared to the previous ADS 3.0.
Under the hood, the 2026 Voyah Dream delivers a total output of 490 kW (657 hp) and peak torque of 915 Nm. It can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just under 6 seconds and reach a top speed of 126 mph. The plug-in hybrid version of the Voyah Dream, equipped with a 62.5 kWh ternary lithium battery, achieves 217 miles of electric-only range and a total driving range of 950 miles. Thanks to its 5C fast-charging system, the Dream can replenish its battery from 20 percent to 80 percent in just 12 minutes.
The Voyah Dream PHEV was developed by Voyah, the premium EV brand from Dongfeng Motor, and it is set to be introduced for the market in 2026. The fully electric model of the Voyah Dream boasts a CLTC rating of approximately 435 miles on a single charge.
The exterior design of the 2026 Voyah Dream stays true to the current model, featuring a bold waterfall-style grille and chrome accents. It also comes equipped with an intelligent rear-wheel steering system that enhances both maneuverability and agility, supporting a maximum steering angle of 5 degrees.
The 2026 Voyah Dream is not just a step forward in terms of technology and performance; it's also a significant milestone in the automotive industry. As the world's first plug-in hybrid MPV to combine several advanced features, including fast-charging capability and rear-wheel steering, the Dream is poised to set new standards in urban mobility.
The official launch of the 2026 Voyah Dream is scheduled for September. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new vehicle.
